Falster round - Stage 1, approx. 20 km

STEP 1. GULDBORG – VÅLSE VIG

Parking/start location:
Guldborgvej 352, 4862 Guldborg. Good parking options and loading areas both in the harbor on Falster or on Lolland.

Special conditions:
In the bay south of Resle Skov, there can be some large waves with northwesterly winds. Between Falster and Suderø, there are several large stones in the very shallow water.

Tour description / experiences:
Guldborg: Campsite, B&B. After about 2 km, you reach Alstrup beach. (Danish Association for Rowing District Cabin, contact the chairman of Stubbekøbing Rowing Club tel. 54 44 19 28). Then round Alstrup Klint and into the bay south of Resle Skov - with northwesterly winds, there can be large waves. Continue north towards Suderø.
Between Falster and Suderø, there is very shallow water with a number of large stones. The trip continues over Mygget Vig and to Vålse Vesterskov, where a sandbank extends from the beach on the north side.
