The Gudenå River: Klostermølle – Silkeborg approximately 30 km

The Gudenåen flows through Mossø at its western end. Therefore, keep to the left to re-enter the Gudenåen. In Gudensø, you have the opportunity to see Øm Kloster if you land at the landing site Dalgaard – it is about 300 meters to the right of the outlet in the lake.

Afterward, you will sail via Ry, Birksø, and Alling Å to Juelsø. If you want to experience Himmelbjerget, you must sail along the southern shore and land at the landing site below Hotel Juelsø. Towards Silkeborg, several lakes are passed, and there are several options for smaller detours – including into Avnsø via Klüvers Kanal.

Søhøjlandet is a popular destination for all types of boating - both canoe, kayak, SUPs, and motorboats besides the scheduled boats. There will typically be considerable traffic here. Be considerate of each other! Motor vessels require a navigation channel, so it is advisable for canoes, kayaks, and SUPs to stay close to the shore.

A day trip in a canoe is about 15-20 km.

It is allowed to boat with a motor on the stretch.
