Præstø Fjord

Nature Room Præstø Fjord is a collaboration between the municipalities of Faxe, Næstved, and Vordingborg with the aim of opening Præstø Fjord to a larger and broader audience.

Along Præstø Fjord, shelters and information about nature and culture have been created at eight easily recognizable fjord posts. A fisherman's house, a lighthouse, a concrete boat, a service building, and a bird tower are set up for staying and experiences. The area's nature and cultural phenomena are communicated through brochures and folders, panels, and exhibitions.

Nature Room Præstø Fjord also offers opportunities for staying and overnight accommodation. At Feddet, the old concrete boat and Fed Harbor have been arranged for stays and shelter overnighting, and four beach meadows along the fjord have been equipped with boat shelters for rowers and paddlers.
