All around Fænø and Fænø Kalv, there are great opportunities to see porpoises and seals. The seals are very curious and often follow your kayak. The island is protected.
Facilities
On Fænø Kalv, you can camp for free and use the designated fire pits. You can only camp for one night, and a maximum of 20 overnight guests are allowed on the island at a time. It is not permitted for associations to arrange overnight stays. There is neither water nor toilet facilities on the island. Please be aware that there is strong current around the island, which is why the route is categorized as difficult.
