Along the sailing route, you glide through the cultural landscape, where you pass the small village of Nolde west of Bylderup Bov, which the famous painter Emil Nolde comes from. Between Sønderå and Grønå lies the hunting lodge Grøngård, originally built by Duke Hans the Elder in 1567. There are still a few remnants from the original buildings north of the current Grøngård.

Good starting points: North of Slogsherredsvej 94 in Hajstrup, Holmgård, Tønder Rowing Club, and at the end of the road Ålykke in Bylderup Bov.
