Pedret i Marzà is a municipality in the Alt Empordà region, with its capital in Marzà. Since 2019, the mayor is Daniel Valencia García. The two nuclei that make up Pedret i Marzà are separated by 1 kilometer of distance; Pedret is more dispersed, while Marzà has a group of houses around a square, with remains of what used to be a medieval fortress.
