The cove is surrounded by mountains and ancient terraced fields. One of its features is its rugged coast that runs from Racó de s'Algar to Port des Canonge.
It enjoys a moderate tourism in the summer months, which particularly focuses on the tower of des Verger or talaia de ses Ànimes. It is also worth mentioning the well-known Port des Canonge, which can be accessed by sea or, like many, by taking a hike.
