As you could already see in the explanation of Maremagnum, this complex contains the largest aquarium in Europe. It dates back to 1995 and is therefore not very old. The aquarium consists of three large tanks; the Oceanarium, a tank dedicated to tropical waters, and a final one dedicated to the Mediterranean Sea. There are 35 different aquariums with 450 different species of animals, totaling 11,000 animals. The 85-meter underwater tunnel is definitely worth it!
