Although the cathedral of Santa Creu is much more popular, this church is also worth a visit if you are in the Gothic quarter of Barcelona. The church of Santa Maria del Pi, built in characteristic Catalan Gothic style, dates back to 1322. Inside, you will find 14 different chapels, each with a stunning interior and stained glass windows. Also pay attention to the beautifully painted chapel figures and the copper-colored organ that give this building its typical appearance. The Iglesia de Santa Maria del Pi is the most loved church among the residents of Barcelona.
