The Iglesia de La Concepción de La Orotava is a religious building located in La Orotava, in the autonomous community of the Canary Islands, and is one of the main churches in Tenerife. For this reason it is popularly called the "Cathedral-Basilica of La Orotava", although it does not officially have any of these titles.
The present church was founded in 1788, and stands on the same site occupied by the foundation chapel dating back to the late 15th century. In 1948 the temple was declared a National Historic-Artistic Monument. Its most characteristic element is the dome, whose shapes are inspired by the dome of the cathedral of Florence in Italy.
