Santa Maria de Porqueres is a Romanesque church located in the municipality of Porqueres, in the Pla de l'Estany comarca. It is a work declared a cultural asset of national interest. The parish church of Santa Maria de Porqueres is situated near the Banyoles lake, on the other side of this town, in front of the ancient castle of Porqueres and next to the independent building of the rectory. On one side, it has the cemetery and, in front, an old communal building.
