The early Christian Basilica of Cas Frares, located in the possession of Cas Frares, in the municipality of Santa Maria del Camí, was discovered in 1833 and destroyed shortly afterwards by the farm's peasant. Before its destruction, the soil mosaic was reproduced, so its characteristics are known. Its measurements were 17.28 m long, up to the quadrangular apse, by 11.30 wide, it consisted of three naves separated by two strips of columns of five pilasters.
