The Guilleries-Savassona Natural Space is one of the 12 protected areas of the Natural Spaces Area of the Barcelona Provincial Council, covering an area of 8,376 hectares and located in the Osona region. It is bordered to the north by Collsacabra, to the west by the plain of Vic, to the south by the foothills of Montseny, and to the east by the Selva region. It includes two natural spaces that are part of the PEIN: the Guilleries and Savassona, which have the particularity of being in the transition zone between two regions: the transversal system and the Mediterranean.
