The Church of Sant Salvador de Bianya is a Romanesque church located in the municipality of Vall de Bianya, in the Catalan comarca of Garrotxa. It is a protected monument as Catalan Architectural Heritage.
The origin of the primitive church, probably from the 9th century, is unknown. The first document that mentions it is from 1090: Sancti Salvatoris de Biannia, and it is a return of the chaplaincy of Sant Salvador to the monastery of Sant Joan les Abadesses. The second building, in Romanesque style, was consecrated in 1170. The earthquakes of 1427-28 completely destroyed it. The church was rebuilt a few years later. The current building, restored in 1911 by architect Rafael Masó, has a single nave with a barrel vault and was later expanded on the sides.
