The stream of Arbucias originates in the mountain of Sant Marçal, under the peak of les Agudes, and runs from top to bottom throughout the municipal term of Arbucias.[1][2] Along its course, it receives water from the riera Chica, from the riera de la Pineda, and from the riera de las Truchas. As it passes through the town of Arbucias, one can find the promenade of Santiago Rusiñol. Taking the path that runs parallel to the stream, under the shade of the riverine vegetation. In this section, there are benches to sit and enjoy the coolness.[3]
