The Sanctuary of Tuiza is a Baroque temple located in Chanos, belonging to the municipality of Lubián in the province of Zamora. In 1995 it was declared a cultural interest asset with the category of monument. It is one of the most interesting examples with deep popular roots in the Zamoran region of Sanabria and a place for the celebration of a well-known pilgrimage. The building follows a very pure Baroque scheme, with clear Galician-Portuguese influences, especially noteworthy is its tower, in which one can admire its dome and lantern, adorned with rich decoration of volutes.
