The Tuy International Bridge is a bridge, located between the towns of Tuy, in the province of Pontevedra, Spain, and Valença do Minho in Portugal, linking the two banks of the Miño River.Although there is a legend that it is a design by Gustave Eiffel or one of his disciples,[1] the bridge was designed by the engineer and Riojan deputy Pelayo Mancebo y Ágreda, [2] It was officially inaugurated on March 25, 1886, almost a year and a half after its entry into service.
