The Castle of Relleu is located in the municipality of Relleu, in the Province of Alicante. It rises on a hill 440 meters high, near the urban core.
It has an irregular polygonal floor plan and an area of about 600 square meters. The contour is delimited by canvases of various constructive typologies, such as rammed earth of great hardness, on masonry walls. Inside there are remains of buildings and a cistern. On the canvas of a section of the external wall you can find the threshold of the passage hollow. Ornamental aspects are non-existent. If there was any detail, it is currently missing or, on the contrary, it could be hidden in the layers of the filling, which is considerable.
