The Argentina pavilion for the Ibero-American Exhibition in Seville in 1929 is located on the Paseo de las Delicias, facing the Glorieta de Buenos Aires. It mixes Peruvian and Bolivian indigenous styles with baroque architecture.
Argentina presented itself at the exhibition with four pavilions. One was permanent and the other three were small and have disappeared. Of the three small ones, one was for the Argentine press and the other two for exhibitions of that nation. The Argentine Commission requested 52,000 square meters, although it ultimately occupied less. Argentina commissioned architect José Espiau y Muñoz to design a pavilion for the Mendoza region. Although Espiau completed the design, it was never built.
