The Baluarte de las Angustias, in Ayamonte, is a fortified construction built in the Modern Age, although currently only a section of the wall is preserved, made up of a composition of stone and mortar, discovered in 1996 and restored in 1999.
It was built in the 16th century, just like the Main Parish of Ayamonte, the Church of Our Lady of Angustias, to which the Baluarte was annexed.
