The Torre de Oliva, with the code 46.25.181-032, is located in the municipality of Oliva, region of La Safor, province of Valencia. Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest with a generic declaration, it has neither registration nor record. [1]
This tower, made of brick and stone, is the only one that remains from the wall that surrounded Oliva in the sixteenth century. The tower defended the access to the Villa through the "Portal del Pi", which has now disappeared. It was so named because it led to the Franciscan convent of Santa María del Pi, destroyed by the earthquake of 1598. [2]
