The Alardos gorge is a watercourse in the interior of the Iberian Peninsula, a tributary of the Tiétar. It runs through the Spanish provinces of Ávila and Cáceres.
The Alardos gorge, which runs between the provinces of Cáceres and Ávila, originates in the Sierra de Gredos and flows southward until it merges with the Tiétar River, after previously receiving the waters of the Chilla gorge.[1] It belongs to the Tajo river basin. It is described in the first volume of Pascual Madoz's Geographic-Statistical-Historical Dictionary of Spain and its Overseas Possessions as follows:
