The Camarasa reservoir is a dam belonging to the Noguera Pallaresa river, created by a dam located in the municipality of Camarasa, which extends across the territories of Camarasa, les Avellanes and Santa Linya, and Àger, in the county of Noguera. The dam was built in the 1920s by the company Barcelona Traction, Light and Power Company Limited, known as La Canadenca, and it shapes this reservoir that spans 20 km, from Montsec to the confluence of the Noguera Pallaresa river with the Segre. It occupies an area of 624 hectares and stretches along 20 km, from the Serra del Montsec to near the confluence of Noguera Pallaresa with the Segre. The GR-1 trail runs alongside the reservoir in this sector.
