The Mieres-Vasco station [1] is a railway station located in the municipality of Mieres, Asturias. It is the main station on the C-8 line. It connects with the Mieres-Puente station via a bridge over the Caudal River and an underground passage that crosses a highway. The station only serves as a stop for trains on the C-8 Cercanías Asturias line, operated by Renfe Cercanías AM. The line is not electrified, so the trains running on this line are diesel, mainly the Series 2600.
