Sa Calobra is a cove in the municipality of Escorca, on the island of Mallorca. It is located in the Sierra de Tramuntana and is at the same time a tourist center that takes its name from a small village that was in the vicinity. [1]
The cove consists of the mouth of the torrent of Pareis, formed by boulders and which is one of the few accesses to the sea that can be found in the Sierra de Tramontana. In 2003, due to the interest represented by its fauna and flora, where more than 300 species are found, it was declared a "Natural Monument" by the Balearic Government. [2]
