The monastic and ecclesiastical complex of Santo Domingo is one of the most valuable examples of Andalusian heritage, whose architecture combines Mudejar, Gothic and Renaissance elements .
It is a monumental complex that today includes the church and the monasteries , a complex founded in the year 1266.
The Chapter was the meeting place of the Community, where decisions were made and monastic life, study and apostolate were reviewed.
The monastery also had a burial place for the monks , and around the monastery some rooms such as the refectory, the library and the classrooms.
The monastery currently hosts numerous exhibitions.
