This chapel was built by devotees at the request of Father Mariscal with part of his alms . Around the year 1670 they built a small chapel in this hermitage. Later, in 1696, a hermit named Brother Mendoza built another room at the chapel with the neighbor's alms .
The triangular facade stands out for its construction, which offers a beautiful niche, finished with a typical baroque bell tower.
The Ermita del Calvario venerates a beautiful statue of San Francisco de Paula , dating from the first half of the 18th century.
Other statues are: Santa Rosa de Viterbo (16th century); Saint John the Evangelist; an image of the Virgin, invoked by María Santísima de la Soledad.
