The Sierra de Grazalema stretches across the provinces of Cádiz and Málaga.
It's not a big area; just under 50,000 hectares and therefore smaller than most other nature reserves in Andalusia.
The Sierra de Grazalema is above all a very varied area, so that you can make walks in a relatively small area that differ enormously in terms of atmosphere . The Sierra Grazalema has bare limestone ridges (the 'Wild West'), deep ravines, valleys covered with forests , swirling rivers , orchards with fruit and olives, meadows full of wild flowers and insects and steep rock walls where technically difficult routes can be climbed.
