Passeig de Canalejas, with an area of 8,510 m2 of green space and Plaça de les Tortugues with 1,060 m2, is a fragmented green space between the Palau de la Diputació Provincial and the Plaça de Sant Joan de Déu.

The Canalejas de les Species walk takes place along the promenade. It houses the city's tourist office, which is shaped like a glass-walled polygon, and the monument to the famous sailor and great strategist of the Spanish Navy, Blas de Lezo.

Plaça de les Tortugues , on the other hand, is a small garden where the Font de les Tortugues rises, surrounded by the outer edges of bitter orange trees (Citrus aurantium). In the gardens that make up this Tortugues Square is the monument to Our Lady of the Rosary, erected by the city in memory of the 1755 tsunami.
