Post and Telegraph Building - Cadiz - Andalusia

Source: WillemVandenameele

Description

In 1930 the post office and the telegraph building were inaugurated, replacing the church of the Convent of the Descalzos that had disappeared and closing the Plaça de les Flores.

This work is made of red brick with decorative glazed ceramic elements that contrast with the traditional architecture of the area. This building is also an eclectic regionalist work . The typical baroque facade of Cadiz is framed by pilasters.
