A charming corner near the cathedral.
Wandering aimlessly through the narrow streets of the Jewish quarter of Córdoba, we arrive at the Plaza de los Abades. It is a small square where the Ermita de la Concepción, with its beautifully restored pastel shades, is a real eye-catcher.
This square was formerly called Santa Clara because of the monastery of the same name. It was the silk market, where the worms were grown in the houses for their later extraction and preparation of the silk.
