GR-11. Stage 21. Conangles Refuge-Restanca Refuge

Stage 21 of the GR-11, which connects the Conangles Refuge with the Restanca Refuge, offers a challenging and enriching experience in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees. With a length of 12 kilometers and an accumulated elevation gain of 955 meters, this route is considered to be of high difficulty, ideal for those looking to test their endurance and enjoy the natural beauty of the region. Throughout the route, hikers have the opportunity to contemplate impressive mountain landscapes and discover the rich biodiversity of the Aigüestortes National Park and Lake of San Mauricio. The route is located near the Viella Tunnel, an important communication artery that connects the regions of Alta Ribagorza and Valle de Arán.
