GR-113. Stage 08. Huertapelayo-Valtablado del Río

Stage 08 of the GR-113, which connects Huertapelayo with Valtablado del Río, offers a unique experience in the heart of Castilla-La Mancha. With a length of 24 kilometers and a difficulty rated as hard, this route challenges hikers with a total elevation gain of 570 meters, ensuring a demanding but rewarding journey. The starting point, Huertapelayo, is a hamlet with a rich history dating back to its founding in 1316. Located in the cliffs of the Alto Tajo, Huertapelayo has been part of the municipality of Zaorejas since 1970 and is situated in the southeast of the province of Guadalajara.
