PR-C-039. Medieval Path to Eramprunyà

The PR-C-039, known as the Medieval Path to l'Eramprunyà, is a hiking route that stretches for 18.3 kilometers in the beautiful region of Catalonia. This route presents a high level of difficulty and accumulates a height difference of 515 meters, making it an attractive challenge for nature and history lovers. The trail is designed in a playful manner, allowing hikers to enjoy a varied journey that includes natural landscapes and historical remnants. Along the way, hikers will have the opportunity to discover two significant points of interest. The first is Can Llong, a farmhouse of medieval origin that was renovated in 1833 and again in 2000. The second point of interest is the ruins of Can Bassoles, also known as Can Passoles according to the consulted cartography. These ruins are located in the Vall de la Sentiu and are a testament to the historical legacy of the area. Although in a state of ruin, the place evokes the rural life of yesteryear and allows visitors to imagine what life was like in this farmhouse in times gone by.
