The route starts from San Sebastián Bay and heads inland to a magical ravine at the foot of a rocky giant. It takes you to the head of the Barranco de La Laja, a rural oasis with orchards, traditional houses, and a palm grove. You will reach a series of dams at the foot of Roque de Ojila. The geology is spectacular, featuring taparuchas (volcanic dikes). The route is an enjoyable ride offering great scenic and natural interest.
