You can consider Faja Racon as a lower variant of the legendary Faja de las Flores. A bit less spectacular, but this does not mean that the route is not interesting; quite the opposite. From the Ordesa parking lot, you walk back about a kilometer on a path, to the right of and parallel to the asphalt road, taking the next walking path to the right. Here begins the steep climb through the forest, (700 m elevation gain to overcome) to Faja Racon. At the end of the climb, you arrive at a T-junction, take the right path, and you are immediately on the faja. The views in and on the Ordesa canyon are amazing. At times, you need to be careful as you sometimes walk next to a deep abyss. The faja ends at the waterfall in the Circo de Cotatuero. Here you can extend your walk with the fajas of Petazals and Canarellos. To find these, simply cross the little bridge at the Baranco de Cotatuero and follow the path on the other side; there is a signpost. You will be out for a whole day, which I believe is a fantastic adventure. If you want to head straight back to the parking after Faja Racon, take the path to the right and descend into the valley of Vale de Ordesa, then go right again down to the parking. The climb to Faja Racon is quite challenging but manageable for anyone in good shape. Start and finish at the Ordesa parking lot.
