This long gravel route follows various gravel roads and paths along the valley of the River Ter, leaving Girona from the north, to head to the point where the River Ter meets the Mediterranean Sea. It contains a suggested stop in Bellcaire d'Emporda, where there is a cycling-friendly café, and riders can detour to l'Estartit when at the seaside, too, should they wish to enjoy its restaurants. The cycle tour returns largely the way it came (an "out and back" route).
