Miehikkälä is a municipality of Finland. It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Kymenlaakso region. The municipality has a population of 1,835, which make it the smallest municipality in Kymenlaakso in terms of population. It covers an area of 440.34 square kilometres ofwhich 18.18 km2 is water. The population density is4.35 inhabitants per square kilometre .
