Lake Nantua - 141 ha and a maximum depth of 43 m is partly bordered by high walls of white limestone. Those who wish to relax their legs after crossing the Haut-Jura regional natural park can take the "Lake Walk" and enjoy a splendid view of these rocks and the lake. Those who prefer to dive into the history of Nantua or its region can visit the Romanesque abbey or the Museum of Resistance and Deportation of Ain and Haut-Jura.
