Saint-Silvain-Bellegarde

Saint-Silvain-Bellegarde is a French commune located in the Creuse department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The climate that characterizes the commune is classified, in 2010, as a "degraded oceanic climate of the plains of Central and Northern France," according to the climate classification of France that then counted eight major types of climates in the metropolitan area. In 2020, the commune is classified under the type "altered oceanic climate" in the classification established by Météo-France, which now only recognizes, at first glance, five major types of climates in the metropolitan area. It is a transition zone between the oceanic climate, mountain climate, and semi-continental climate. The temperature differences between winter and summer increase with distance from the sea. The rainfall is lower than by the sea, except near the reliefs.
