Bayon-sur-Gironde

Bayon-sur-Gironde is a French municipality with 721 inhabitants in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The municipality belongs to the Blaye arrondissement and the L’Estuaire canton. Bayon-sur-Gironde is located about 24 kilometers north of Bordeaux at the estuary of the Gironde. Bayon-sur-Gironde is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Comps to the north, Samonac to the northeast, Saint-Seurin-de-Bourg to the east, across the river island Ambès to the southeast, Macau to the south, Margaux-Cantenac to the southwest, as well as Gauriac to the west and northwest.
