Tintury is a French commune with 167 inhabitants in the Nièvre department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. It belongs to the Château-Chinon arrondissement and the Château-Chinon canton. Tintury is located about 32 kilometers northeast of Nevers in the foothills of the Morvan and along the Canne River. Tintury is surrounded by the neighboring communes of Rouy to the north and northwest, Alluy to the north and northeast, Biches to the east, Fertrève to the south, and Frasnay-Reugny to the west.
