Sainte-Terre is a southwestern French town with 1,910 inhabitants in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The municipality of Sainte-Terre is situated at an elevation of about ten meters above sea level on two meanders of the Dordogne River. The distance to Libourne is approximately 15 kilometers to the northwest; it is about ten kilometers to Saint-Émilion. Sainte-Terre was located on a secondary route of the Camino de Santiago.
