Rumegies

Rumegies is a French commune located in the Nord department, in the Hauts-de-France region. The climate that characterizes the commune is classified, in 2010, as a "degraded oceanic climate of the plains of the Center and the North," according to the typology of climates in France which then counts eight major types of climates in the metropolitan area. In 2020, the commune is categorized under the type "altered oceanic climate" in the classification established by Météo-France, which now only includes five major types of climates in the metropolitan area at first glance. It is a transitional zone between the oceanic climate, mountain climate, and semi-continental climate. The temperature differences between winter and summer increase with the distance from the sea. Rainfall is lower than on the coast, except near the reliefs.
