Bantzenheim is a French municipality with 1,594 inhabitants in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region.
The clustered village is located in the Upper Rhine Plain by the Rhine side canal along the departmental road D 468, twelve kilometers northeast of Mulhouse. The Rhine is only two kilometers away, and in the neighboring municipality of Chalampé, there are both a road and a railway crossing to the German town of Neuenburg am Rhein on the right bank of the Rhine. To the west of the municipality extends the northern part of the Harthwald; the area facing the Rhine is heavily industrialized.
