Coupiac is a place and a southern French municipality with 373 inhabitants in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region. It belongs to the Millau arrondissement and the Causses-Rougiers canton. The inhabitants are called Coupiaguais. Coupiac is located approximately 40 kilometers east of Albi in the southwest of the historical province of Rouergue. The southern part of the municipality is traversed by the stream Gos, which drains into the Rance. Coupiac is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Brasc to the north, Montclar to the northeast, Martrin to the east, Saint-Sernin-sur-Rance to the south, Balaguier-sur-Rance to the south and southwest, Plaisance to the west, and La Bastide-Solages to the west and northwest.
