Saint-Palais is a French commune with 1,841 inhabitants in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It was the capital of the eponymous canton until its dissolution in 2015, and since then it has been the capital of the canton of Pays de Bidache, Amikuze and Ostibarre. An alternative route of the long-distance hiking trail GR 65 runs through the town, which largely follows the historic route of the French Camino de Santiago Via Podiensis.
