Donnezac is a French commune with 915 inhabitants in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. The commune belongs to the Blaye arrondissement and is part of the Le Nord-Gironde canton. The inhabitants are called Donnezacais. Donnezac is located about 36 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux. The Livenne river flows through the commune. Donnezac is surrounded by the neighboring communes of Val-de-Livenne to the north and northwest, Montendre to the northeast, Corignac to the east, Bussac-Forêt to the southeast, Saint-Savin to the south, and Reignac to the west.
