Golinhac is a French commune with 325 inhabitants in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region. The town is located on the long-distance hiking trail GR 65, which largely follows the historical route of the French Camino de Santiago "Via Podiensis." Golinhac is situated in the Central Massif, south of the Lot Valley in the section between Estaing and Entraygues-sur-Truyère. The nearest major French cities are Lyon to the northeast, Toulouse to the southwest, Bordeaux to the west, and Montpellier to the southeast.
