The Verney dam is an embankment dam on the Eau d'Olle, located in the municipalities of Allemond and Oz in Isère, France. It gave rise to Lake Verney, the lower reservoir of the Grand'Maison pumped-storage power plant. This is an earthfill dam 44 m high and 430 m long. Its thickness reaches 195 m at the base and 10 m at the top, with a total volume of 1.55 million m3.
